Trust & Privacy

How we handle your data

This page is maintained by Next Stop Cafe to answer common security and privacy questions about our website. It describes our current practices and is not an independent certification or audit.

What we collect

We collect only the information you give us when you interact with the site: catering requests, web-design requests, newsletter sign-ups, and any messages you send through the contact form. For each of those we store your name, email, phone, and the contents of your request.

We also record basic, non-identifying analytics about how pages on the site are used (which page was viewed, the referring site, marketing campaign tags, and an anonymous session identifier) so we can improve the experience.

How we use it

We use the information you submit to respond to your inquiry, prepare quotes, fulfill orders, and follow up about your event. Newsletter email addresses are used only to send updates you opted in to.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties for advertising.

Security controls in the site

Our website runs on a managed cloud backend with row-level security enabled on tables that hold customer data, so requests can only read or write the records they are authorized for. Form submissions are validated on the server before being stored.

Admin access to customer data is restricted to authenticated staff accounts with an explicit admin role. These descriptions reflect controls visible in the app and are not an independent certification.

Cookies and analytics

We use a small number of first-party cookies and local-storage keys to keep you signed in (for staff), remember preferences, and tie analytics events to a single browsing session. We do not load third-party advertising trackers.

Retention and deletion

We keep catering and web-design request records for as long as needed to serve you and to keep accurate business records. Newsletter subscribers can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any newsletter email, which removes the address from future sends.

If you would like a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or you would like us to delete it, email us at the address below and we will respond within a reasonable time.
